This carb looks very similar to the carb on my 2008 Suzuki King Quad 400 (LTF400F). Might be the same carb.

When are you going to make a video of you putting it back together you said you rebelled it you only took it apart

one carb is a primary carb and the other is a secondary. You need to make sure these carbs are synced. The primary controls idle and up to 25% throttle and then the secondary kicks in and they open together for the rest of the throttle range.

Does anyone know why my 2012 polaris ranger 400 looses all throttle after about 2k revs it dies and goes down to idle even when foot is still on accelerator.

seems like the clutch cover rubbing on the clutch is a common theme with these magnums...this is the 5th video i have watched about these clutch covers

So mine's got oil in the stator area and flywheel. Can I pull that crankcase cover off to replace the seal while the motor still mounted in the Ranger?

Drop the four bolts from the front differential and move it over a little bit and pull it out the front. It's way easier.

Love the videos, thank you! However my 94 Timberwolf will only pull start and run no lights even when running?! If I put a battery in I get no lights, no electric start, and no neutral or reverse lights. Any ideas?

That was some real slight of hand using the 12mm wrench to "loosen" the choke cable from the carb. No 12mm open end wrench that I have ever found will fit between the carb body and the brass choke fitting. There is a $22 special tool that will do the job. Instead, I cut a slot in a box end wrench and ground down the box end thickness so that it fit between the carb body and the brass fitting. It was a home made tool but it works great.

Thanks for this video. It's difficult to get info on older carbs. I serviced my '82 Yamaha XJ750J carbs since the engine side boots were cracked. I still have the issue of only getting half choke travel and then it seems to not do anything beyond that so starting in cold weather is a problem. I can still cover the intake to the airbox and it keeps running. Choking off the air at the airbox should kill the engine but it doesn't. The carbs were extremely clean when I took them apart and I replaced the jets and seats. I guess I have an air leak somewhere but not sure what it could be. I do need to synch and adjust float levels and probably check valve clearances. Any thoughts on the potential leak are appreciated.

My quad is choking when i give it gas idle is fine i can go like 15 or 20 km could it be my float?

I'm rebuilding my 660 the top hose on the resivor tank. Does the hose just connect to the resivor tank and nothing else or does that line then connect to another engin part. I forgot to take pics when I was disassembling 4 years ago.

Anyone having trouble taking off the float pin use a center punch they’re about $4 at harbor freight its gonna save you so much time they’re usually stuck on there and dont come out as easy as this.
